We are seeking an Administrative Assistant- Curriculum & Instruction/ Religious Education to work as a part of our office team at the Catholic Education Centre who is a problem solver, a forward thinker, a dynamic individual with a flexible nature who will help us to meet our many responsibilities now and in the future. This is a full-time position averaging 37.50 hours per week that runs concurrent with the school year.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WITH THE BELOW QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of office administrative experience, ideally in an education or public sector setting.
  • High level of computer literacy, including advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with PowerSchool and Atrieve ERP is an asset.
    The successful candidate must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check, upon being offered the position.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate divisional events of varying scale, from start to finish.
  • Execute general office duties and routines, including document preparation, database management, webpage updates, and distribution list management.
  • Order supplies, manage inventory, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to support shared goals and office cohesion.
  • Contribute positively to the office environment and administrative operations.
  • Liaise with various school-based and district staff, as well as external individuals and groups.
  • Assist other departments with special projects, meetings, and coverage as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as required, in alignment with evolving organizational priorities and to ensure the continued effectiveness of divisional operations.?
