Position Summary AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Administrative Assistant, preferably with experience in healthcare academic education. The successful candidate will support its mission of advancing excellence in higher education through innovation, global engagement, and student-centered leadership. In this pivotal role, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to leadership, manage scheduling and communications, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and ensure the smooth operation of daily executive functions. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the college’s Dean, faculty, staff, and students, including managing and organizing schedules, meetings, and appointments. Assist in advising and registration of students. Prepare and process official correspondence, memos, and reports. Maintain and update college records, files, and databases. Coordinate communication between the college and other university colleges, departments, and services. Assist in the preparation and organization of college events, workshops, and conferences. Respond to general inquiries from students, faculty, and visitors. Assist in budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management for college supplies and equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dean or college administration. Ideal Candidate Profile Excellent Communication Skills – Able to write and speak clearly and professionally. Academic knowledge - Must have foundational knowledge of healthcare academic education. Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to manage schedules, and multiple tasks efficiently. Discretion and Confidentiality – Trusted to handle sensitive information with care. Proactive and Solution-Oriented – Ability to take initiatives and solve problems independently. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic. Education and Experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business. Prior experience in Academic Healthcare Administration or any other related field.
