Position Summary: We are hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Project in VA location. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests and employees visiting our project office. This is a highly visible role and requires someone with a professional and customer-focused demeanor. Must be able to multi-task and work hand-in-hand with all office staff and leadership. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Greet all visitors, whether client or employee, with a professional and friendly attitude. Answer all incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff. Take messages and communicate them to appropriate parties. Sort mail and distribute appropriately. Perform data entry as needed. Help organize meetings and company events. Maintain and stock office supplies. Draft, reviews, and proofread office documents. Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers and copiers and fax machines. Manage and organize the front desk area. Other administrative duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience as a receptionist in a busy office. Microsoft office suite proficiency. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the renewable energy arena a plus. Able to remain extremely professional, composed, and competent in a fast-paced, changing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization. Exceptional attention to detail. Flexible and cooperative with a well-developed team spirit. Physical Requirements for Office Roles: May be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and telephone, along with other general office equipment. Close vision abilities required due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting/carrying of 25 lbs may be required. Reaching overhead or below. Work environment may include being able to tolerate moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, light traffic) Ability to work in a confined area. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
