We are hiring:
We are a long-established firm of Loss Adjusters & Surveyors involved in the investigation of freight liability and marine cargo related claims based in Ipswich.
We are looking for an individual to assist our small team with the general administrative running of the office.
Job Description Factors:
* Inputting new claim details into claims database* Updating claims program and diarising files
* Managing multiple inboxes on outlook
* Sorting and electronic filing of emails
* Assist with the preparation of reports and fee invoices
* Answering the telephone and assisting with telephone enquiries
* Arranging survey appointments
* Audio typing - desired, but not essential
* Prospect of handling of low-level claims
You will need to be:
* enthusiastic with good communication skills
* have strong organizational and administrative skills
* have a flexible and professional attitude and an ability to work quickly under pressure and as part of a team
* use your initiative
* be able to work unsupervised
Prior experience in the insurance or freight industries is not essential but two years office experience is preferred.
* Salary is negotiable, but dependent on experience.
* Immediate start date available.

* Possibility for hybrid working.
