ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join us at ATCO Electric as an Administrative Assistant (Clerk III). As a valuable member of our Operation Services team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, where you will be challenged to excel and make a difference.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Apply strong organizational skills to proactively support the service department’s business functions and project administration processes.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
  • Periodic maintenance of routine reports using established templates and processes.
  • Drafting correspondence, managing document processes, maintaining records and manuals.
  • Manage and maintain records efficiently, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval.
  • Process financial transactions such as travel, credit cards and invoices.
  • Process work orders, support budget processes, track and verify invoices.
  • Coordinate administrative operations and fulfill front desk responsibilities as needed, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service.
  • Manage office calendars, support for meetings, minute taking and ensure calendars are up to date.
  • Support the department with the timekeeping process, enter time exceptions, run monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, travel and prepare expense reports.

    What You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required and a one-year certificate from an accredited post-secondary institute in Business Administration or related discipline.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Databases, Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of one-year related experience with an operations team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation and organizational skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills with an ability to handle multiple requests.
  • Must be able to deal professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail, supporting efficient office administration and precise record-keeping
