The Administrative Assistant-Compliance Coordinator is an administrative support position primarily responsible for proactive monitoring of all services of MCCA that are billed/paid for by the Connecticut Medicaid Program. Additionally, this position will monitor services billed to other insurances as well. The monitoring is to occur in a timely manner, such that all responsible parties are notified, and issues of potential non-compliance are corrected to meet both the MCCA and the Medicaid Standards of timeliness and documentation.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Two-year degree, prefer bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Psychology, Sociology, Social Worker or the social sciences.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years of demonstrated office and records management skills.
GENERAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent analytical skills, good Business English, including good spelling, grammar and punctuation; excellent math proficiency.
Ability to work independently, handling multiple projects and/or duties.
Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point a must. Carelogic experience a plus.

Monitoring the BioPyschosocial, Treatment plans and services provided by MCCA, along with tracking the failed activities. This will be conducted using weekly Medicaid Non-Compliance Report. This report will be put together using data extracts from Carelogic and detail analysis of the individual case as necessary.
Generating weekly reports for every outpatient location and residential programs. The report will identify compliance issues applying MCCA and Medicaid Standards.
A weekly statistical scoreboard of compliance issues will be compiled and send to the program directors and senior management. Queries related to compliance report from program directors will be answered in a timely manner.
All other duties are as assigned by the management team. The Administrative Assistant – Compliance coordinator will report directly to the QA/Compliance Manager.
