OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team. Experience in Water & Sewer Industry is an asset but not manditory. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve a variety of construction based administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our office, making it essential for the candidate to have experience in customer service and clerical duties. Experiance in a fast paced contruction industry is a must. Please do not apply if you do not have experience in this field of work

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in an construction based administrative role with clerical responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and demonstrating attention to important details pertaining to the task at hand
  • Demonstrated phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment is REQUIRED.

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our systems.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks and accounts payable records using QuickBooks.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including typing correspondence and proofreading documents.
