De Aston School is seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Administration Assistant to become the welcoming face of our busy reception. This is a vital role at the heart of our school community, offering a varied and rewarding working environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Greeting visitors and managing reception duties
  • Providing first aid support to students and staff
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and general admin tasks
  • Supporting school events and maintaining records
  • Using school systems like Bromcom for data input

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and ICT skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and a friendly manner
  • Experience in admin or school environments (desirable)
  • First Aid training and GCSEs grade C/4+ (desirable)

37 hours per week – Monday 8:15am to 3:45pm and Tuesday to Friday 8:15am to 4:15pm.
39 weeks per year, plus 5.6 weeks paid holiday.
