Job Summary:  The Administrative Assistant provides support to the V. P. Operations by performing a variety of duties that include collecting data, conducting research for special projects, reviewing, and preparing reports. General project management.    Key Responsibilities:    * Handles confidential and proprietary information, exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality. * Reviews the status and follow-up of projects and activities to meet all deadlines. * Reviews various reports on either a daily or monthly basis to identify opportunities for improvements and growth.   * Conducts product and service research, assembles data for various projects or inquiries. * Helps organize the workflow and ranks work projects in order of importance  * Collects requested information from various sources, prepares reports and summaries of findings.  * Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions. * Receives and directs incoming phone calls, providing call screening and routing as appropriate. * Assists with items needed for bank audits, exams, and end of year tax reporting. * Performs other related duties as assigned.    Supervisory Responsibilities:  No supervisory responsibilities   Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent. One to three years’ experience in banking preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role.      Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Not applicable.   Qualifications:   * Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Excellent communication skills.  * Ability to organize and prioritize tasks without direction.  * Ability to work independently. * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  * Ability to meet deadlines.  * Ability to use critical thinking and analyze data. Work Environment: General office working conditions exist. Employee may experience sustained moderate/high periods of activity with multiple tasks being performed. They may experience communication with a variety of internal and external sources under favorable and unfavorable conditions. Noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
