ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – DESIGN & ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

At Powerline Plus Ltd., we specialize in three key areas: Electrical, Civil Construction, and Engineering & Design. We provide high-quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities, developers, and industrial, national, and international manufacturing companies across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Design & Engineering Department. In this role, you will perform a variety of clerical duties specifically for the Design team, ensuring smooth operation and organization within the department.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary completion in Civil Engineering Design or a related field
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a design or engineering environment
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Scanning, renaming, and electronically filing soft copy documents for the Design & Engineering Department
  • Photocopying and organizing hard copy documents
  • Typing reports, memos, and other correspondence for the Design team
  • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting discrepancies in Excel spreadsheets and databases
  • Entering data into Excel spreadsheets and databases related to design projects
  • Performing general administrative tasks specific to the Design Department as required
