About the role
Turning Point Addiction Medicine Unit (Detox unit) is looking for a vibrant and agile person to fill the position of an administrative assistant/receptionist at Wellington House, a detox unit in Box Hill. The role will be responsible for providing a courteous and professional receptionist response to all phone call enquiries and visitors to Turning Point Addiction Medicine Unit and for the provision of general administrative services. The emphasis of the working environment is one of teamwork and the position will include participation in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

Awareness of privacy and confidentiality, individual and organisational responsibility within a health service;
Familiarity with all computer software packages used within an administrative role e.g. Microsoft office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.,
Excellent understanding of customer service and a commitment to effectively meet and their needs in a helpful and professional manner
Working knowledge of public hospital data bases
Qualification in office administration
An ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
