Description Position Role: The role of the Administrative Assistant is to be responsible for completing a wide variety of administrative functions in support of the branch. Specific responsibilities include entering detailed programming information and entering customer sales orders. Essential Functions: · Receive, review and forward inbound orders · Scans and files order packets to the network · Perform data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, and database systems · Regularly review and update data records to ensure accuracy; remove unnecessary data and archive records · Review discrepancies in data; advise supervisor of issues related to data and performs data verification routines in accordance with company procedures · Coordinate with other departments to ensure convenient access to data/records and to implement standardized data entry/organization practices across company · Run reports and create visual reviews of data using spreadsheet and presentation software · Create data directories for file and report generation retrieval purposes · Perform routine maintenance tasks related to hardware/software or files technical assistance requests as necessary · Assist Administrative Manager with any other tasks, projects or initiatives · Accurately complete paperwork as required · Teamwork · Comply with customer policies and safety requirements · Other duties as assigned by manager Job Competencies: · Ability to work well with others in a small team environment. · Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills · Strong service mentality Qualifications: · 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role · Strong computer skills · Keen attention to detail · Strong time management skills · Ability to balance thoroughness with effective presentation techniques. · Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP experience preferred. · Knowledge of construction industry is a plus. Physical Demands: · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer · Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Work Environment: This is a full-time position. Office environment.
