ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, EDITORIAL

Ligonier Ministries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our editorial team in a vital, behind-the-scenes role that helps bring theological resources from first draft to final publication
This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives on coordinating details, ensuring projects run smoothly, and supporting a team dedicated to advancing gospel-centered content. It’s also an excellent opportunity for those interested in the world of editorial work, providing unique access and exposure to the processes behind creating and managing trusted theological resources.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the editorial team to upload and manage content on Ligonier.org and TabletalkMagazine.com.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, both within the department and across teams.
  • Manage and maintain social media post schedules.
  • Provide support to the Vice President of Editorial and Chief Editorial Officer, including scheduling, submitting tech tickets, handling credit reports, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with special projects, such as tracking conference topics, researching public domain resources, and data reconciliation.
  • Organize files, make copy edits, and perform quality control for ongoing projects.
  • Submit check requests, reconcile credit card expenses, and prepare mailings.
  • Handle various administrative forms and correspondence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree and experience in communications, journalism, or editorial work is highly valued.
  • A background in a ministry setting is preferred.
  • An ability to juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and grace.
  • A commitment to excellence in organization, communication, and follow-through.
  • A passion for sound theology, with a wholehearted affirmation of Reformed theology and Ligonier’s Core Statement of Faith.

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational need
