Job Title: Educational Accreditation Coordinator (Administrative Assistant)
The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) is seeking an individual to join our public schools team supporting hundreds of schools in the New England region as they engage in school improvement through accreditation.
We are looking for someone to assist with all levels of administrative support of the accreditation process including drafting and editing official correspondence, managing reports and data, and scheduling and supporting school visits, workshops, and other activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Educational Accreditation Coordinator will provide administrative support to facilitate the accreditation process through drafting and editing communications to schools and volunteers, data management, and coordination of accreditation team visits to schools. The person in this role will also assist with the coordination and support of meetings and workshops as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication, attention to detail, and administrative support skills. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the office.
Knowledge of the accreditation process and team management is not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Manage school, volunteer, and visit data accurately throughout NEASC systems.
  • Write and edit official correspondence with schools related to visit management and accreditation decisions.
  • Support the assembly and management of visiting teams, including communications with volunteers and school leadership.
  • Provide support across a range of other activities in support of the work of accreditation including managing report workflows, supporting meetings and workshops, and monitoring billing activities with the business office.
  • Cross-train with commission staff to maintain proficiency in work processes throughout NEASC.
