The Administrative Assistant for the Encounter High School Discipleship Program, provides organizational and logistical support for a variety of program activities and events. Work includes managing documents and records, coordinating details for weekly outings, and assisting with communication and planning processes. Also contribute to improving office systems and supporting staff and students as needed to help the program run smoothly.  Hours: This is a part-time position, scheduled for 20 hours per week, during weeks of school operation. Job Requirements * Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail  * Proficiency in spreadsheets, document management, and digital filing systems  * Ability to coordinate logistics for events, field trips, and other activities  * Effective written and verbal communication skills  * Capacity to handle confidential student information with discretion  * Flexibility to assist with a variety of administrative and program support tasks  * Initiative in identifying and improving procedures or systems  * Willingness to occasionally participate in student activities or events  Minimum Qualifications * Education:   * High school diploma or equivalent required;  some college coursework or an associate degree preferred.  * Experience:  At least 1–2 years of administrative,  office, or program support experience (preferably in an educational or ministry setting).  * Technical Skills:  * Proficiency with Google Workspace (especially Sheets and Docs). * Familiarity with maintaining digital and paper filing systems.  * Basic skills in printing, laminating, and preparing materials for events.  * Soft Skills:  * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  * Reliable time management and ability to meet deadlines.  * Clear and professional written and verbal communication.  * Flexibility and willingness to assist with a wide variety of tasks.  * Initiative in problem-solving and improving systems.  * Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and volunteers.  * Alignment with the values and mission of a Christian discipleship-based educational program.  * Ability to fulfill the physical and work requirements of the job. (See attached) * Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as educational employment history check and reference check. * This position does not qualify for sponsorship of work authorization or an employment visa, so candidates must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. to be considered for this position.
