The Entrepreneurial Resource Centers (ERC) support small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs throughout the Inland Empire by providing resources, training, and strategic guidance to help them succeed. Led by CSUSB’s Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE), the strategically positioned ERC locations are go-to resource centers for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to elevate their success! We are passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and strengthen their communities. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our resource centers. This role will play a key part in ensuring smooth office management and providing essential support to our program manager and program participants.

POSITION SUMMARY

Temporary, Part Time, Non-Benefitted position through 6/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $17.00-$25.00 per hour.
Location: Off campus. ERC, San Bernardino.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Other:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • A passion for supporting small businesses and the entrepreneurial community.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a nonprofit or entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for keeping things running smoothly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Friendly and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
