ABOUT THE ROLE Ferguson Electric’s Administrative Assistant role provides support to the executive team, Service, and Marketing departments while strongly upholding and promoting the organization's core values. WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, managing complex calendars, preparing meeting materials and correspondence, and handling confidential information with discretion. Manage the Service department report process including infrared inspections, oil sampling, and maintenance reports; assist the Marketing department, project managers, and cross-functional teams with administrative tasks, coordination, and documentation. Process all incoming correspondence, phone calls, emails, mail, and faxes; serve as a professional point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors. Procure, replenish, and maintain inventory of office supplies; maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems and document management. Maintain the company contact database and support efficient administrative systems and processes to improve departmental operations. ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Minimum of 3 years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in construction, electrical contracting, facilities service, or a professional services environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook for calendar and email management, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams); experience with document management systems or construction/service industry software a plus. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail; demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion; outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
