Location: Villagebrook Apartments; Carol Stream, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, plus weekends/holidays as needed
Hourly Rate - $18.00 - $20.00, based on experience

Reports To: Community Manager and/or General Manager
As part of a regional management team, this position will require rotation across other properties in the area portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or property management experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of people and teams.
  • Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Tax Credit Certification required within 120 days of hire (training provided).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasionally lift materials up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk properties, climb stairs, and inspect roofs/attics as needed.

    We are seeking a highly organized and personable Administrative Assistant (AA) to support the daily operations of up to four properties in the region. This position plays a vital role in resident engagement, office organization, and property support.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist prospective applicants with information and the application process.
  • Prepare and distribute delinquency notices.
  • Support the recertification process and lease administration.
  • Maintain organized and complete office files and reports.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Track and follow up on resident service requests.
  • Conduct monthly phone shops of competitive properties.
  • Assist with unit inspections and ensure vacant units are ready for leasing.
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient office environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
