Ontario Virtual School is a veteran in the evolving field of e-learning. We have been operating as an accredited online high school since 2010. REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Completion of postsecondary education is required, OSSD highly valuable
o Superior customer service skills, including a strong comfort with conversing over the phone and a courteous, but efficient email manner.
o 2+ years of experience in an administrative role. Experience in school settings is considered an asset.
o A well-organized work style, including superior time management skills and a keen eye for detail
o Willingness to adapt to a changing environment and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively
o Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, Google Drive, and Dropbox. WordPress is considered an asset.

o Assess different post-secondary pathways and provide recommendations to students regarding options based on their achievements and goals
o Data entry within a learning management system as well as a post-secondary application portal
o conduct zoom sessions with students from around the world to provide guidance and post-secondary application support
o Provide efficient administrative support to the office, 200+ teachers and 20000+ students, as well as our team of directors and other office staff, as needed
o Provide front-line support, answering a wide variety of inquiries and concerns from students, parents, guidance counsellors, and partners through phone, email, and online chat
o Assist the existing administrative team with any other in-office tasks, as needed
