Position #: 9009221 Expected Start Date: April 27, 2026 Union: OOS Facility: Regina Centre Crossing City/Town: Regina Department: Academic Health Sciences - Family Medicine Unit Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 37.5 hours per 1 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Salary or Pay Band: As per Terms and Conditions of Employment Travel Required: No Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Manager to provide confidential administrative support, along with coordinating the day-to-day office functions of the Family Medicine Unit.  This includes assistance in developing & maintaining staff schedules, vacation, leave requests, making time corrections within AIMS and VIP systems.  The position will be responsible for supply purchasing for the unit via AIMS My Connection system and interacting with SHA procurement. The incumbent works closely/ cooperatively with the Manager, FMU, to assist in accomplishing objectives.  The incumbent coordinates workflow with other admin. support staff within the Academic Health Sciences and Learner Placement portfolio and in their absences, may provide support services as requested. These assignments are completed with a high degree of accuracy in an efficient & effective manner.  The position ensures any inquiries, complaints and concerns are directed to the appropriate department.  Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * A minimum of two years experience within a health care facility Education * Certificate/Diploma from a recognized Business Administration training program * Office Administration Diploma Other Education and Training * Medical terminology is an asset Competencies * Communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.   * High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues * Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction.
