As a growing company with a collaborative and dynamic work environment, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the General Manager and support the leadership team, including the company owner. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a wide range of administrative responsibilities with efficiency, professionalism, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Elm Tree Electric is quickly becoming Nashville’s trusted residential electrical provider with services ranging from new construction and remodels down to the simplest service-related work. Lumenate is Middle Tennessee’s leader in outdoor lighting, holiday lighting, and irrigation. Our primary customers are municipalities, large commercial projects as well as the service for the discerning homeowner. Mavien provides high end audio video solutions, custom interior lighting and automated shades, networking, and home theater solutions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Previous administrative experience in a service-oriented environment preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with the electrical field is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, outlook, CRM software and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage many priorities.
  • Good listener
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

    Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager, division heads, and owner.
  • Assist with creating, editing, and organizing customer proposals.
  • Manage scheduling, correspondence, and documentation across departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with tracking project timelines and tasks.
  • Support customer communication and service coordination.
  • Supporting the invoicing and billing of clients
  • Handle the permitting request for the city and state.
  • Order all necessary product and supplies across divisions
  • Assist with estimating when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Establish and build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Become a subject matter expert on the various product offerings including, Electrical services, architectural and landscape lighting, and holiday lighting.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Manage social media platforms including blogs, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Mailchimp.
