Description JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing general office, reception, and administrative support for the Landside Operations (LO) Department by managing most paperwork in the Office for Taxi, valet, charters payments, and permits. Ensures that all invoices are paid monthly, and paperwork is filed correctly and answers the intercoms to assist customers that pull up the entry gates for parking. Makes sure the office and taxi booth have adequate office supplies. This position reports to the Manager, Landside Operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Answers incoming phone calls: provides information to general callers; provides information and assistance to Landside Operations Specialists requiring automobile license plate numbers; provides information to Taxi booth; assists walk-in customers: helps in emergency situations; answers questions and provide requested information; files documents: organizes Landside Operations (LO) office documents efficiently to facilitate rapid retrieval; reviews documentation monthly to ensure taxis/limousines/charters possess current insurance coverage; and collects monies for Valet, Taxi and Charter payments: includes payments, fees, and citations; offers office assistance; distributes supplies, and assists LO coworkers during busy periods. Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations, within designated timeframes and per established procedures receives and reviews various documentation, and reviews, completes, processes, forwards or retains as appropriate; prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence, and other documentation; compiles data for further processing or for use in preparation of department reports; and maintains computerized and/or hardcopy records. Operates or uses various equipment and supplies to complete work assignments operates a personal computer to enter, retrieve, review or modify data, utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, Internet, e-mail, or software; and operates general office or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions. Communicates with Aviation Authority officials, supervisor, employees, clients, third party service contractors, the public, tenants, vendors, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, schedule meetings, review status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK: High school graduation or acquisition of a GED. Three to five years' experience in a related field of work. Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience. Specific License or Certification Required: Valid South Carolina driver’s license.
