Description
Description Representatives of the Admin Department always offer friendly and knowledgeable customer service to create a memorable experience for our customers. They will also support other departments among the facility, as needed. Fielding phone calls, attention to detail, and building rapport with the guests and athletes are the primary goals of this position. This is a part time role. Must have availability for weekends and willingness to work in our Chandler location as needed. ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Always give 110% effort towards Customer Service; remaining interested, attentive, and resourceful for each guest, provide friendly greeting. Provide details on all Ice Den programs and general inquiries to those who ask – communicate by phone, email, mail, fax and in-person. Assist with enrolling customers for programs, check in public skate admissions as well as Adult Open hockey/Stick time. Act as cashier by handling money (cash, check, credit card) Understand and use proper industry terms in regard to figure skating and hockey programs. Contribute to general office upkeep and perform miscellaneous office duties, including but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, filing, answering phones, taking messages, responding to email. Assist in opening and closing office as designated by Manager, successfully reconcile bank drop each evening when necessary. Special tasks and projects assigned by Managers. Requirements A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts. Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. Active enrollment in High School or equivalent program (GED), High School Diploma, or a General Education Degree (GED) is required. Experience and comfortability in direct customer service, working with the general public, and in an office environment is required. Proficient use and understanding of computers and overall administrative procedures is also required. Exposure to Ice Sports and affiliated associations is a plus.
