Description Non- Exempt (Temporary- Part-time/10-20 hrs. per week) Non-Benefit Eligible Purpose and Scope To support the Diocese of Phoenix in its mission to Encounter the Living Christ, this position is responsible for effectively assisting the Catholic Social Teaching office in its efforts regarding the Engage Your Equal program (E.Y.E.). This includes collaborating between the Diocese of Phoenix and its partners in the E.Y.E. destination country. Essential Job Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Coordinate with Engage Your Equal applicants and interview committee for scheduling purposes. Work with Catholic organizations on promoting the Engage Your Equal Application. Oversee the booking of flights, international insurance, visas, and other necessary aspects of international travel. Plan administrative aspects of E.Y.E. meetings and retreat (location, timing, etc.). Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Additional Job Functions Performs any other job-related functions and projects that are necessary to ensure the smooth flow of operations and customer-service oriented environment. Working knowledge of Catholic teaching on global solidarity Good team player and teamwork skills Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal High level of professionalism Excellent interpersonal skills Self-directed and well organized Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook Willingness to travel within the Diocese as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or minimum of 5 years of experience. Active practicing Catholic Love of Catholic faith and heart for service Work Environment: This job operates in a professional environment with flexibility to work on location. Working virtually from an offsite location might be available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Physical Demands This position requires flexibility around physical demands. Some offsite travel might be required.
