Job Title Administrative Assistant II Compensation $27.00/hr Location Midland, TX – Highway 80 Schedule Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week Target Start Date ASAP Scope / Overview The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support to a department or individual while ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, handling correspondence, preparing reports, and supporting special projects. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. This position is expected to operate with moderate supervision and may serve as a senior administrative resource capable of handling confidential information, leading administrative projects, and mentoring other office staff. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to department personnel and leadership Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination Prepare, edit, and maintain reports, correspondence, and documentation Maintain filing systems and records management processes Answer phones and assist with general office communications Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements as needed Order and maintain office supplies Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail Support special projects through data collection, reporting, and information analysis Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Assist with administrative process improvements and office coordination activities Required Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with email and calendar management systems Strong administrative coordination and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities Customer service experience Strong attention to detail and professionalism Preferred Qualifications SAP experience Strong computer skills and technical proficiency Oil & Gas industry experience (preferred but not required) Recruiting Notes Looking for an experienced administrative professional rather than an entry-level office assistant SAP experience will be a significant advantage Candidates should demonstrate strong Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel Previous support of operations, engineering, maintenance, or field-based teams is a plus Must be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills are critical for success in this role
