Sports World is a Toronto based sports memorabilia and marketing company looking for someone to support our president and office team as an administrative assistant.

Position Overview: We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Administrative Assistant to support our president and day-to-day business operations. You’ll be a key member of our office team, ensuring daily tasks are completed and signing events run like a well-oiled machine.

  • Assist president with daily tasks and ongoing projects in a variety of business and personal matters.
  • Manage task list, deadlines, and reminders between the president and team.
  • Assist with communication and follow up for the president with agents, suppliers, customers and staff.
  • Review daily automation data in QuickBooks software and assist with paperwork, emails and entries to support bookkeeping role.
  • Organize government filing, bank deposits, vendor payments and other similar administrative roles.
  • Maintain and organize digital files, physical paperwork and emails.
  • Coordinate vendor communication, purchase orders, paperwork and follow-up.
  • Office HR support including posting jobs, paperwork for new hires, orientation and onboarding, payroll, staff vacations, scheduling and assigning employees, etc.
  • Maintain and order office supplies, equipment procurement, insurance updates, car registration, internet, phone, etc.
  • Assist with event management and contracts for athlete autograph signings.
  • Other similar duties as assigned in accordance with company needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams and cloud based filing.
  • Passion for sports and collectibles is a big plus.
  • Essential experience with basic bookkeeping software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Driver’s License.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
