Job Summary  We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Procurement and Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of purchasing computer hardware and software, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and budget guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The described duties are considered essential to the job and representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. · Create and manage purchase orders for computer hardware and software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. · Draft and submit approval requests and business cases for IT procurement, clearly articulating the need and benefits of the proposed purchases. · Process credit card transactions in the Concur system, ensuring timely approvals and accurate record- keeping. · Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining records. · Research and shop for competitive prices on computer hardware/software, staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends. · Assist with other administrative functions as requested by the IT department or marketing department. Qualifications and Requirements Required Qualifications · 1+ year experience in IT procurement or administrative role. · High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications · Familiarity with creating purchase orders and processing transactions in financial systems such as Concur. · Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, planning, and organization. · Excellent communication and writing skills for preparing approval requests and business cases. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with IT terminology and products.
