Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Administrative & IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative assistance and frontline technical support. This dual-role position ensures smooth office operations while maintaining the functionality and efficiency of computer systems and user support services. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support Perform general office duties including scheduling, correspondence, filing, and data entry. Maintain and organize records, reports, and documentation in both physical and digital formats. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes. Assist with procurement, inventory tracking, and supply management. Support departmental projects and initiatives with research, reporting, and logistical coordination. Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, printers, and peripheral devices. Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions. Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with equipment lifecycle management. Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus call Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred. 2+ years of experience in administrative support and/or IT help desk roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with help desk ticketing systems. Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking principles. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with Windows and Mac OS environments. Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools. Familiarity with purchasing systems and administrative software platforms. Customer service orientation with a proactive and collaborative approach. Physical Requirements: Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
