REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma required, post secondary in finance / commerce an asset
· Understanding of general accounting principles
· 2 years experience in a busy customer service role
· Automotive accounting preferred with experience in SERTI software
· Familiarity with lease contracts, ICBC paperwork, and automotive financial documentation an asset
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comfortable in an open office
· Able to multi-task, prioritize, and react to situations with tact and discretion
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Lease Department Administrator supports the Deal Clerk and Lease Department by handling administrative and clerical duties related to automotive leasing transactions. This role ensures accuracy in lease documentation, facilitates timely processing of lease deals, and provides essential support to the leasing and accounting teams. Ideal for detail-oriented individuals with experience in automotive or financial environments.

DUTIES
· Assist in the preparation and processing of lease deal paperwork, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with company and manufacturer requirements
· Prepare lease deals, ensure all documentation is prepped and complete for processing by the accounting department
· Provide administrative support to the lease department and assist with customer communications, when necessary
· Liaise with sales and accounting departments to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation
· Follow up on pending approvals or missing information when instructed by the lease manager
· Maintain a large leasing portfolio, ensuring all necessary documents are current and accurate.
· Maintain current insurance records and ensure all files are updated
· Communicate and resolve any issues with managers
