Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Administrative Assistant is a key role in the Kanata office, acting as a central point of communication between program functions. This role provides primary office support for the site and interfaces with staff at the customer locations and other admin assistants throughout the country. The role is highly visible and will contribute to the overall positive working environment at Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin).
The role has the support of the extended Lockheed Martin administrative team. You will work with deputy program managers and engineering leaders to further the success of their programs.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Organized, detail oriented and possessing a natural customer focus
  • Experience in a support role on a large program or project
  • Experience managing an office environment for leaders
  • Experience tackling multiple schedules and priorities
  • Experience with office supply management
  • Eligibility for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret Clearance and Controlled Goods (CG) Certification

ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED FOR THE ROLE

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Current NATO Secret and CG clearance would be considered an asset
