THE OPPORTUNITY

Metro Testing + Engineering Ltd is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Fort St. John office as a Safety / Administrative Assistant. As a crucial member of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing reception and administrative support to our dedicated branch staff. This position reports to the Office Administrator
This is for a 10 -12 month maternity leave coverage . The position will start on the first week of March, 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming phone calls, ensuring seamless redirection to the appropriate personnel.
  • Greet Clients in a professional manner.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across various departments, contributing to the smooth operation of our office.
  • General AP duties under direction of Office Administrator
  • File vehicle maintenance records and schedule for appointments.
  • Administration of the branch’s health and safety program.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for office and coffee room supplies.
  • Data entry in engineering specific software.
