Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative assistant or customer service role, with exposure to conveyancing or legal services.
  • Familiarity with conveyancing procedures, terminology, and documentation is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and conveyancing software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach when liaising with clients and third parties.
  • A proactive attitude with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in a legal or property-related field is an advantage.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $28.50 – $31.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the conveyancing team, ensuring the timely completion of property transactions.
  • Manage client communications, handling queries and providing updates on progress in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Organize and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Ensure all client information is confidential and securely stored.
