We are looking for individuals experienced in logistics and transportation to add to our team who will contribute to achieving our mission. Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant will handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. (S)He will be responsible for administrative processes including: managing incoming and outgoing daily mail, printing checks, filing documentation as required, maintaining daily spreadsheets, as well as other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: * Printing checks, matching correct invoices to verify accuracy  * Office printing for payments, scanning to correct designation  * Maintaining multiple spreadsheets that are updated in a daily manner  * Cross checking all data coming in from overseas  * Matching manifest numbers to contractor invoices  * Mailing out payments, preparing labels, etc.  * Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including: answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing  * Keep stock of office supply cabinet and order as needed Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience working in logistics, distribution or warehousing environments * Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook  * 3 years of administrative experience  * Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously  * Great communication skills  * Cross-functional collaboration  * Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance  * Highly organized    Job Type: Full-time  Metropolitan Warehouse is an equal opportunity employer.
