Description:
Leys Farm Junior School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 3 Administrative Assistant to work as part of a well-established, nurturing, forward thinking team.
The role involves working alongside the Business Manager and Administrative Officer on a daily basis, as well as liaising regularly with the Pastoral Manager and Headteacher.
The role will include:
- provides administrative support for the whole school,
- working as part of a team in the main office,
- maintain an oversight of attendance,
- liaising with parents and visitors to the school,
- stationary, stock control, inventory and auditing,
- liaison with contractors regarding the buildings and premises,
- working under pressure and meeting deadlines,
- an oversight of health and safety,
- some First Aid at work.
The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, have strong IT skills, be able to operate calmly and diplomatically in a busy school environment when dealing with staff, parents and children.
We are looking for a motivated and highly professional individual who is flexible in their approach and able to use their initiative. You will be fully supported by the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, Business Manager, Pastoral Manager and Administrative Officer.

The position is 25 hours a week, 8am to 12:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3:30pm on a Friday, term time only.
