Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As an Administration Officer within the Office for Veterans Affairs, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of services and programs that honour and assist NSW veterans.
You’ll provide high-level administrative and clerical support, manage correspondence, coordinate meetings and travel, and assist with grants, financial and records management. You’ll also contribute to meaningful projects such as maintaining the NSW War Memorials Register and supporting policy and program teams with written communications and research.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Administration Officer role; you will

  • Provide quality administrative support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing timely information and referrals.
  • Take minutes for formal meetings and support project work and desktop research.
  • Help maintain the NSW War Memorials Register website, updating listings via the backend system.
  • Manage financial processes including grant payments, vendor creation, and payment workflows.
  • Maintain records and databases, ensuring secure and accessible documentation.
