JOB SUMMARY

This position is located at the Bridge Office in Oakdale and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
As an Administrative Assistant in the Bridge Office, you will provide support to office staff in a variety of ways.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating out-of-state travel requests, training requests, purchase requests, and special expenses.
  • Serving as the backup Bridge Office Network Document Specialist.
  • Providing assistance and administrative support to internal and external customers and staff
  • Performing various general support duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Skill in grammar, spelling, and punctuation to write and edit reports, letters, and other professional documents.
  • Skill in obtaining, organizing, and drafting administrative materials for office use.
  • Skill in using computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe, sufficient to schedule meetings and compile and prepare information for use by others.
  • Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate information to customers over the phone, via email, or through written correspondence, e.g., answer questions, deliver information, take directives, address complaints, and direct customers to appropriate contacts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using database programs and/or records management software such as eDOCS and PowerApps.
