Granite Engineering is seeking a reliable and adaptable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our team of professional engineers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and can accommodate a flexible schedule. Hours and days will vary based on project needs, so the ability to be available on short notice is essential.

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in a professional office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Valid motor vehicle license
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Comfortable adapting to changing schedules and priorities
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to Principal and Staff Engineers
  • Assist in preparing, compiling, and submitting engineering project documents
  • Manage office supplies and equipment inventory
  • Support billing and accounts receivable processes
  • Input and verify staff timesheets for accuracy
  • Maintain and update the company job directory
  • Prepare project abutter lists and correspondence
  • Schedule digital and in-office meetings
  • Enter bills into QuickBooks and manage payment scheduling
  • Assist in preparing engineering proposals and cost estimates
  • Design and maintain company qualifications and marketing materials
  • Coordinate seminars, training, licensure tracking, and continuing education
  • Organize office outings and team-building events
  • Manage company website and social media accounts
  • Prepare copies of project plans and reports
  • Conduct deliveries of project submittals to various Towns and agencies using company vehicles
  • Perform other office duties as needed
