Description The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant.Flexible Scheduling - 18 - 24 Hours a Week SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant – Operations role is a pivotal support role that ensures the smooth execution of day-to-day business and of the facilities within the organization. This position goes beyond clerical work to include strategic administrative support, internal communications, process documentation, and coordination of special projects that enhance operational efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide administrative support to the Director of Business Operations, Production Manager, and Facilities Manager. Draft, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and internal documentation to improve consistency and operational clarity with guidance. Regular, consistent data entry of production information for payroll purposes. Assist with internal communication initiatives, including staff updates, business memos, and content for newsletters and client communications. Conduct basic research for business efforts, proof-read proposals, grants, and other essential formal documents. Proficiency in Microsoft office to include Word and Excel and web-based applications. Data entry experience preferred.
