ABOUT THE JOB:

Kent is looking for an Administrative Assistant on a part-time basis to support our Canada operations and be based in our Sherwood Park, AB office.
You will help with administrative tasks including time sheets, assisting with travel arrangements and other general office administration.
Skills and Responsibilities:

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATION/ TRAINING/ CERTIFICATION:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative role preferably in the Oil & Energy industry with similar responsibilities.
  • College diploma in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Computer proficiency with general knowledge of networks and issue troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support such as requesting and ensuring office has supplies, organizing courier packages, sorting and distributing mail, stocking kitchen and ordering kitchen supplies, shredding paper, ordering copier supplies and maintaining printer and toner.
  • Assist with on-boarding new hires and welcome packages and assist with our employee off-boarding process.
  • Schedule and/or assist to organize activities such as town hall meeting invites/communication and catering.
  • Book flights, hotels and car rentals for designated projects and update company travel portal.
  • Support Lead Office Coordinator with ad-hoc tasks as necessary.
    In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee’s skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee’s current workload and with respect to their professional development.
