THE POSITION

We are looking for a part-time, in-person Administrative Assistant to work 8–10 hours per week from our Northwest Washington, DC office.
The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare SAT/ACT prep materials—printing, assembling them into student binders, and shipping to new clients. Additional responsibilities are outlined below.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Detail-oriented and organized: You thrive on tracking systems and never let tasks fall through the cracks.
  • Independent problem-solver: Comfortable working with limited oversight and occasional ambiguity.
  • Schedule availability: Able to work 8–10 hours weekly in person, ideally Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM–2:00/3:00 PM. (We’re flexible for the right candidate.) This role is particularly well-suited for a local parent seeking part-time work during school hours.
  • Strong communicator: Clear, responsive, and collaborative.
  • Time management: Highly organized with excellent process adherence.

  • Availability for at least two weekdays per week, 3–4 hours per day, between 9:30 AM–3:30 PM

  • Intention to remain in the role for 3+ years, with pay growth over time
  • Reliable car access and willingness to drop packages at UPS or USPS
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Successful completion of a background check
