Sustainable Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our Team part-time as an Administrative Assistant at our head office in Karana Downs (4306).

ABOUT US:

Sustainable Pty Ltd is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years’ experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across Brisbane, broader south-east Queensland and northern NSW.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

General day-to-day duties include (but not limited to):

  • Answering and transferring phone calls
  • Sending and responding to emails (including shared inbox management)
  • Hard copy and digital document filing and archiving
  • CEO personal assistance (e.g., booking appointments, preparing folders, etc.)
  • Assisting team members with administrative duties, as required
  • Assist in preparing and formatting documents/spreadsheets and generating reports
  • Liaising with internal and external parties (e.g., suppliers, business partners, etc.)
  • Manage office supplies inventory, inventory orders and post-office mail pick-up
  • General cleaning and other ad hoc administrative duties, as required

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • No experience required, though prior experience in a similar role will be looked upon favourably
  • Be available to work within normal business hours and a minimum of 24-hours per week
  • Must have a driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle and/or have reliable transport (*Please note there is no public transport near us)
  • Someone with a friendly and positive outlook, an organised and self-motivated disposition and a focused willingness to learn and contribute within a small team environment

ROLE QUALITIES AND OUTCOMES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised business administration skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.) and related software / technology
  • Capable of working unsupervised and within a small team environment
  • Capacity to handle pressure, work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Passionate commitment to assist and help grow the business
