Description

Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Assistant based in the Occupational Health Service.
The post holder will be based in the reception area of Occupational Health and will provide administrative support to the Office Manager, medical and nursing staff to enable an efficient and effective service delivery.
The role includes reception and telephone duties, updating an electronic diary system for clinical appointments, photocopying, filing and general administrative tasks.
The Occupational Health Nurse Manager and Office Manager may also from time to time require the job holder to perform other duties appropriate to the grade of the post.
Applicants should be reliable and able to interact with team colleagues and service users. You should have excellent organisational, communication, administrative skills including experience using the Microsoft office programmes, as well as experience of working within an office environment, preferably within a higher education or NHS setting.
The role is part time (14.5 hours per week), working two days a week; Thursday-Friday.
In addition to the base salary stated above, the successful candidate for this post will receive an additional 2.5% supplement to their pay.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
