REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience, general bookkeeping, and payroll administration.
  • Proficient computer abilities.
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities

· Reception and overall office administration.
· Safety Coordination.
· AR: invoicing, progress draw, monitor AR and resolve issues, bank deposits.
· AP: payables, wire transfers processing, monitor online payments.
· Bank and Credit Card reconciliation.
· General GL account monitoring and reconciliations.
· Accurately processing payroll twice monthly
· Monitor employee health plans and benefits.
· Government taxes calculations and remittances (GST, PST, EHT, WCB, Source Deductions, Corp Tax).
· ROE online, EI inquires, ICBC inquires.
· Holdco monitoring, reconciliations, calculations, and remittances.
· Assist in preparing year end documents, T4’s.
