We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic and fast-growing tutoring company. This is an in-office position located at our Calgary office. Remote work is not available for this role. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure the efficient operation of our office, with a strong desire to help students achieve their academic goals and make a positive, meaningful impact on their lives. SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Knowledge or the Alberta Curriculumn and School system is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls using proper phone etiquette.
  • Write and distribute emails and text messages to clients and tutors.
  • Manage social media communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Maintain and update contact lists.
  • Invoice clients and process payments monthly.
  • Match new clients with our tutors.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
