Today, the company has 103 locations in 18 states and is one of the largest independent bearing and power transmission distributors in the country.   The Administrative Assistant will grow sales and increase company profits working with the Branch Manager to perform the below duties including but not limited to: Reporting to the Branch Manager and performs the following duties: * Create and place orders through P21 computer system. * Responsible for tracking, expediating all orders. * Ensure timely execution of purchases from Sales request. * Effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders such as, but not limited to, inside sales, vendors and Branch Manager. * Track, file and organize vendor receipts for clear data. * Become familiar with standard products used and research vendors for cost effectiveness, quality, terms etc. * Respond to any issues related to invoices, product delivery or shipping. * Receives into P21 all incoming packing lists. * Closes and balances the cash drawer daily. * Inventory control, helping with cycle counts. * Help on any projects after all purchasing and receiving duties are done. * Any other purchasing needs as designated by the Branch Manager.
