Wilson Health Services was founded in June of 2001 by Dr. Jason Wilson. The office has grown over the years and is now a bustling multidisciplinary office. Our four clinics in Cambridge, Guelph, and Paris and Kitchener each includes Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Naturopaths and Chiropodists. We offer state of the art therapies like Shockwave, Class 4 Laser, Decompression and Fox laser for Fungal Nail removal.

Seeking an energetic individual to work in a established multidisciplinary clinic. Our clerical support staff are trained to ensure smooth flow within our clinic and ensure that the various duties related to running a health care office and managing patient files is done in a friendly, professional, organized, and efficient manner.

REQUIRED Academic & Work Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Administration/Reception dealing directly with patients preferred.

REQUIRED Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, and patient management software
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Basic accounting skills and Point of Sale Knowledge
  • Superior Customer Service Skills
  • Superior Communication/Interpersonal Skills
  • Understanding of Record Retention for Medical Offices
  • Apply learned skills to different situations
  • Adapts easily to new situations
  • Previous experience with WSIB and MVA claims an assett
  • Medical admin course an asset

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as an ambassador for the Clinic
  • Manage the front desk and coordinate patient care
  • Answer telephone calls and direct them accordingly
  • Greet and Check in Patients - complete all necessary forms
  • Maintain patient database, and patient files
  • Process all patient payments (cash, visa, Mastercard, Interac)
  • Process all WSIB and MVA claims
  • Generate Clinic reports as required for patient follow up, daily and weekly balancing, and practitioner compensation
  • Ensure Clinic is tidy at all times, some light laundry for linens used in treatment rooms
  • Manage all orthotic and shoe orders
  • Manage multiple health care practitioners individual needs
  • Willing to learn new things
  • Reprocessing and sterilization of medical equipment
