OVERVIEW

The team at Rogers & Company, CPAs, PA is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented office administrator to assist our growing firm with administrative duties. Throughout the year, our firm participates in community service days and office socials. These events provide our team with the opportunity to partner with local non-profits, give back to our community, and grow as a team. A great attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

DESCRIPTION

All candidates must complete a Wonderlic screening assessment to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Scan and file documents accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and assemble tax returns, forms, and financial statements
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and running general errands as needed
  • Draft and prepare various communications including memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
  • Conduct research and compile information for reports or presentations
  • Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and help maintain office organization
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and regulations
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
  • Excellent office and phone etiquette
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks

  • Prior experience in an accounting firm or similar setting

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous administrative experience or office work experience is beneficial
