RK&K is seeking a dynamic and motivated Administrative Assistant to work from our Washington, DC office. In this value-added role, you will support our DC Office with communications and general administrative needs. Additionally, as needed, you will also support the Engineering Team leaders with various contract administration, project support tasks for multiple clients, and on-call contracts. If you desire to work with a people-oriented team of managers and engineers, then come join our team of transportation professionals!   Essential Functions * Administrative Support: * Perform general administrative functions for our DC Office. * Organize events for DC staff. * Track professional society participation * Maintain office and breakroom supplies. * Coordinate as needed with RK&K facilities * Serve as point of contact for building management, visitors, and deliveries. * Project Support: * Support our clients with administrative support of their programs. * Draft, submit for approval and track related client forms for staffing approvals, work order changes, subconsultant changes, etc. * Support managers by leading project related tasks, including: * New contract and budget set-ups * Draft and distribute subcontracts * Certificates of Insurance management * Prepare and document contract reviews, approvals and modifications * Invoice development and review, progress reports and payment tracking * Organize and track monthly project reviews to discuss budget, staffing and project progress Required Education and Experience * High School diploma or equivalent * Experience with document management related to legal contracts * Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Detail oriented, able to keep multiple activities organized digitally * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in groups and to demonstrate good problem-solving skills is a must * General understanding of various types of government contracts and working knowledge of overhead rates is a plus  Preferred Skills and Experience * Basic understanding of legal contracts and accounting principles * Deltek Vantagepoint experience Other Duties This job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under ADA).
