OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Sales to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations and the acquisition of new business. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel environment, demonstrating strong administrative and sales skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages administrative duties on a day-to-day basis and establishes office procedures.
  • Designs and maintains filing, distribution and archive systems for a variety of records and files such as correspondence
  • Orders office supplies.
  • Collects and manages guest data to build market intelligence.
  • Executes sales calls under the direction of the General Manager.
  • Prepares and balances Best Western accounts, like Travel Cards, Free Night Stays, BW Rewards etc.
  • Reconciles credit cards daily
  • Prepares month end documentation for the accounting department.
  • Takes month end inventories of vending machines and sundry
  • Greets guests with a smile and in a warm and courteous manner
  • Responds to guest requests promptly
  • Works as a team player
  • Maintains equipment
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
  • Foster Business with proactive sales approach.
  • Analyze current client base and devise innovative approach to boost said base.
  • Approach Corporate and Social organizations to promote the hotel
  • Provide superior guest service, with speed and efficiency when returning calls and making bookings.
  • Be the face of the hotel at industry and networking events with professionalism and character.
  • Work with travel partners
  • Report and document all sales activity
  • Provide a superior guest experience and support at every stage of capturing corporate and leisure bookings.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay
