Islandwide Promotions is NL’s fastest growing promotional products and apparel company, and we are recruiting an Administrative Assistant to support our sales team!

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or similar, or equivalent in relevant, recent work experience;
  • Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
  • Experience with Sage Accounting software is an asset, but not required.

Regular hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30, but some additional hours may be required periodically. The anticipated start date for this position is March, 2025.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing general office support and a range of administrative duties, including but not limited to:

  • Greet clients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional manner;
  • General office duties such as data entry, file management, and photocopying;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and client information;
  • Ensure the office is kept clean and organized, order office supplies as needed;
  • Support the sales team by entering orders, researching products, sorting and packaging orders for clients, and invoicing;
  • Accounts receivable duties, such as following up on overdue accounts;
  • Other duties to assist the sales team as required.
